I have been with my wife for 9 years now and in those 9 years she has always wanted to buy a horse. She had horses when she was a kid and 20 years later she still has the bug.
During the first few years that we were together we lived in a tiny apartment in New York City which for two young Brits was a pretty amazing experience, but when you can hear the other person breathing in the next room, you know that you have no room for a horse. So now 9 years later and a move back to an English farm we have room for a horse. Our 10 year anniversary is coming up so last week while she was randomly looking for a horse I made a note of the horse and with a friend of mine who is a vet I set out to see it. Getting the all clear I bough the horse and now we have a horse.

So this blog is my lessons in owning a horse and learning to ride and looking after it. I hope to share my wizdom with you the internets.
